Dan Davison (b. 1956) is an educator, composer, adjudicator, clinician, and singer from the Pacific Northwest.  He has been the choir director at Ballou Junior High in Puyallup, Washington since 1979.  To see a more complete biography, click here. 

Dan's compositions are primarily available from Walton Music, but he also has selections published with Hal Leonard and Sound Music Publications.  The selections vary widely, from those suitable for junior high voices, to those written for professional ensembles.  To see a compete list of compositions, click here.

Dan regularly speaks on choral music topics.  In particular, his workshops on The Male Changing Voice have been presented throughout the Northwest.  Dan will be be presenting an interest session on the Male Changing Voice this year in Chicago at the National ACDA Convention.  To see a list of topics for clinics, click here.

Dan is accepting commissions for compositions.  His most recent commssion, "Vamos A Bailar" was written for the 2011 ACDA National Junior High Honor Choir, and will be premiered at the 2011 National ACDA Convention in Chicago.   Dan has also been commissioned by TCDA (Texas Choral Director's Association) to write a piece for the boys of the 2011 Junior High Honor Choir.  That piece, "Show-Down" will be premiered at the 2011 TCDA convention in July.  If you would like to contact Dan about a commission or another topic, click here.
